Bronja Novak (SE)

Bronja studied at London Contemporary Dance School 1988-91. 1991-92 she studied at Performance Training Intensive in Vancouver for a year. She has been working as a dancer, choreographer and performer with occasional teaching since 1993 in Sweden, England and Germany.

In 1995 she founded the ensemble “Parkerad Rörelse” (Parked Movement) where she performed in pieces for both children and adults.

She continuously teaches both adults and children on improvisation.

Bronja is part of EMBLA dance & theatre where she has created and performed in “På vår strand” (On our beach), “Sov du?” (Did you sleep?), “MerDansTillVardags” (MoreDanceInDailyLife) and “Gående Bord” (Walking Table).

Apart from EMBLA Bronja has created pieces like “Die Damen von Welt”, “Les Ballets de la Mc” and “Hoppalappa”.

She also creates and performs in installations, happenings and at corporate events.
